EHS Specialist Opportunity with L’Oreal Research and Innovation

L’Oréal USA Research & Innovation is seeking an EHS Specialist for a full-time temporary position in Clark, NJ.

This is a 40-hour/week, two-year temporary role with the opportunity to become a full-time L’Oréal employee.

The position is on site 5 days per week and will support site-wide EHS programs, including:

  • EHS data analytics, reporting, and dashboards
  • Regulatory compliance and environmental programs
  • Hazardous waste management
  • Environmental permitting, including air permits
  • EHS training, communication, and engagement
  • Continuous improvement projects and audit preparation

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years of EHS experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.

This role has a strong focus on workplace safety and health in the entertainment industry, including scene shops, theaters, opera companies, and other covered worksites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting site visits to investigate safety concerns
  • Responding to workplace safety issues
  • Interpreting safety regulations for members
