The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey is seeking a Program Director, Construction Safety Management to lead construction safety strategy across major capital and redevelopment projects.
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Salary Range: $170,820 – $250,016
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing agency-wide construction safety programs, mentoring safety professionals, driving strategic initiatives, collaborating with executive leadership, and ensuring regulatory compliance across complex construction operations.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 10+ years of safety experience, including construction safety leadership
- Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction and General Industry standards
- Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, CRIS, or similar are highly desirable
