Topic How to Asses and Reduce Risk
How to asses and reduce risk. This presentation will explain the differences between Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment, review Liberty Mutual’s risk reduction process (R3 TM – Residual Risk Reduction) so attendees can learn how to reduce risk in your organization and to demonstrate the value and power of employee involvement through real world examples.
Speaker Frank Gesualdo, CSP
Frank Gesualdo, CSP is a Region Manager for Liberty Mutual Insurance. He is responsible for managing a team of risk control consultants dedicated exclusively to UPS. Services include risk assessment and loss analysis; coaching, mentoring and training of employees and management; conducting systems analysis; and conducting engineering and facility surveys.
Frank has been with Liberty Mutual for over 32 years and prior to this assignment held numerous positions including managing consultants providing risk control services to National clients in the Northeast and managing Liberty’s nationwide books of business for Construction wrap-ups and Energy. He also managed Liberty Mutual’s World Trade Center Clean-up project, which saw 122 Liberty employees provide on-site assistance over the course of 8 months, most of which was 24hrs/day, 7days a week.
Frank has been a member of the ASSP New Jersey Chapter since 1992 for which he is a Past President. He is also a former ASSP Metro Area Director and recently completed a 4 year term as the President of the Safety Executives of NY (SENY). He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University (1986) and became a Certified Safety Professional in 1994.
